Woodstock Gilbert Gooney Bamboo Windchime

This chime displays Gilbert, the Gooney bird as his head nods in time with the music made by his tuned bamboo chimes.

Our Asli Arts chime is crafted from bamboo that gives a mellow, musical and enchanting sound that is uniquely different from any other chime. Hand crafted by men of Bali; each piece is individually hand-carved and hand-painted. Non-endangered wood and bamboo are used to make these instruments of nature.

This chime is hand-toned by musicians. The musician/craftsmen test the sound of each tube, thereby ensuring that the sound of each chime is as good as they look. By hand-toning each tube and selecting a range of sizes, each chime produces a unique melody.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Bamboo chimes are made from natural materials. Every chime is unique and has imperfections. Additionally, hairline and small cracks often develop as bamboo expands and contracts. Cracks and routine imperfections are not considered a defect, even when the chime is brand new.
