Last fall it rained and then hard froze overnight. The measure tube cracked. I tried to repair it but it didn't last. Luckily WeatherShack sells all parts of the Stratus. The part shipped fast and I was back in business in only a few days.

1" inner cylinder

I bought a 1" inner cylinder gauge to replace one that leaked. The leak might have been caused by freeze/thaw action at night in the bottom of the gauge but I am only guessing. I expect this one to last & maybe I should monitor the precip. & temp better this time.
