I purchased this outdoor sensor because my old one blew off its mounting during a storm and was soaked. After 4 days of drying out, it started working so now I have a new spare. BTW. the chart you have that lists all La Crosse models to sensors was extremely helpful. Thank you.

My favorite hardware store was going out of business. I bought a La Crosse weather station on clearance that did not have the sensor, this item (fairly priced) was the missing piece. I am in business with a working weather station. thank you!

Great replacement although I think too pricey given what a whole unit would cost. Big problem though, in general, these are not weatherproof / rainproof which is why my original one went kaput! These should be rainproof and you should not have to buy an enclosure to make it so.
