The AcuRite 00219 Digital Thermometer features an easy-to-read LCD screen that displays the current indoor temperature/humidity and the temperature of the included probe. The display will also toggle to view the current time. The AcuRite 00219 includes a 10-foot wired sensor probe for measuring the temperature in additional areas such as; outdoors, refrigerator, freezer, terrarium or attic. Freeze resistance by having a wired exterior probe

I purchased this thermometer to replace a thermometer i had had for 10yrs. This little box won't have its battery sending unit die at -30f because the battery is nice and safe inside!easy to read easy to install battery and easy to deploy probe. Thanks for still carrying these well built machines

Inclusive Weather Station

This is the first time I've ordered from WeatherShack and I'm very impressed. They delivered my station well before the expected due date. Packaging was perfect and the station works just fine. I love the screen as it shows three different readings; Outside and inside temperature and inside humidity. You can switch to time also. Perfect for my needs!!!

Keep An Eye on Your Air Conditioner

I got this to replace an ancient Radios Shack indoor/outdoor thermometer. The remote probe probe broke off. I have this unit on a wall in my kitchen, with the remote probe in a floor vent. That way I can monitor my A/C performance. The temperature readings are with 1 deg F of an accurate Simmons analog dial thermometer. This unit works well, and the additional hygrometer/humidity meter is a bonus. A very good deal for the price. I suggest, if you plan to use this thermometer in the same way, to wrap the cable from the remote probe with electrical tape. Evidently, the vibration of the probe in the air stream from the floor vent broke the cable of my original instrument.
